Client Involvement

You are welcome to be involved with the starting and re-education process of your horse. We ask that you give Fred the first week to work with your horse alone so he can concentrate purely on your horse's training, then are happy for twice weekly visits for you to watch the progress of your horse's training. During the first week you will be regularly updated on your horse's progress.

Appointments can be made by phone or email to come out and watch your horse being worked. We ask that you keep to your appointment time and advise us of any changes 24 hours before the appointment. We also ask that you leave your children at home and also, for the privacy of other owners, only stay for the duration of the training of your own horse.

Once your horse is having rides out of the round yard, you are welcome to accompany Fred on a ride out with your horse. This offers a fantastic opportunity for you to keep up to date with what your horse is doing. You're welcome to bring up a horse of your own to ride out with, or we offer Roy our lead horse, however we ask that clients sign a standard disclaimer before riding Roy. He is very quiet, but any horse can be unpredictable and everybody 'rides at their own risk', as at shows and clinics.

We will not book your horse in for re-education unless we get a commitment from you to be involved in the process as we find this is just as important as re-educating the horse itself. We also like every owner to complete at least one handover ride with their horse before taking them home.

We like to offer support once your horse has gone home. We love to hear how things are progressing and are also available to answer questions.
